ABOUT BRYON RUSSELL

Bryon Russell was born Dec. 31,1970 in Chicago Illinois. He and his family moved to California in 1980. He attended San Bernardino High School where he was named All American in basketball. In 1989 he received a full scholarship to Long Beach State University. In his senior year the possibility of becoming a NBA basketball player became evident. In 1993, Bryon was drafted 45th pick by the Utah Jazz. Bryon had his best season with the Jazz in the 1999-2000 season. He averaged 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. In the years 1997-2000, he played in every single regular season game. Bryon went on to play for the Washington Wizards, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Denver Nuggets. Bryon and his wife Kimberli have been married for 13 years. They have three
beautiful children, Kajun, Brandon, and Brittani.

ABOUT COACH SARAH & THE CAMP
Sarah Court has been involved with the pursuit of excellence in athletics for more than half of her life. A member of the 2002 Weber State Women’s B-Ball team that won the Big Sky Conference Division I Championship, Sarah knows what it takes to be successful. Coach Court gets results by inspiring our youth to reach towards their personal potential, while learning and embracing the magic of fundamentally sound basketball and having fun doing it.  Since 2006 the purpose of COURTSIDE HOOPS is to create an environment and avenue for young men and women who have a love and passion for the game of basketball to grow, improve, and better themselves as basketball players and as individuals.
